FROM THE FOUNDER

Dear friend,
The last few years have shown us something we can no longer ignore: freedom is under attack and underfunded.
Freedom is a system that allows people to choose, build, and collaborate under the rule of law; where progress emerges from millions of informed decisions, not centralized state control, and where human dignity, property, and responsibility are respected.
Around the world, authoritarian regimes are gaining power and coordination. Meanwhile, the forces defending freedom and democracy remain fragmented and under-resourced. And yet, as philanthropists, we continue to invest in causes we care deeply about: health, education, climate. Without freedom, none of these can fully thrive.
Why? Because human dignity is the inherent right of every person to think, choose, create, own, and participate peacefully in society. It must be protected by the rule of law and free from coercion, so knowledge can grow through education. Freedom can be exercised through voluntary action by informed citizens; and medical progress can serve human life rather than control it.
That is why we created the Reynolds Foundation Freedom Accelerator; a portfolio of leaders, philanthropic projects, and organizations building a freer society and unlocking progress across our three funding pillars: Freedom and Democracy, Education, and Medical Research.
Through rigorous due diligence and diverse risk profiles, we apply financial investment principles to philanthropic giving, based on these three pillars, making it possible for family offices and strategic partners to treat freedom and human dignity as an investable asset class.
The Accelerator is not a fund; it’s an operating infrastructure. It channels capital, talent, and action where they are most urgently needed: with measurable goals, a clear roadmap, and a co-investment model built for transparency and real-world impact.
I invite you to explore this movement with that lens; align your philanthropy with the cause that protects every other cause. If it speaks to your sense of urgency, of possibility, of responsibility; I hope you will join us.
For freedom,

— Tim Reynolds,
Founder and Chairman
